JESTER'S FUNERAL: Farewell Album Available For Free Download

April 10, 2006

German metallers JESTER'S FUNERAL have made their entire farewell album, "Fragments of an Exploded Heart", available for free download via their official web site. Check it out at this location .

The follow-up to 2003's "Shifting: Skywards" (TTS Media Music),"Fragments of an Exploded Heart" was self-produced with the help of the SoundSquare production team from Duesseldorf and by the group's former bass player, Holger Wies.

The band had previously issued the following statement regarding their decision to go their separate ways: "After trying to convince any record label [to release] our new album for about 10 months now, we decided to put the album online for free and split up the band after 10 years of heavy metal. We are not interested in a record deal ripping both the band and the fans off, so we quit the whole thing right now, as long as we can think of this band as a constellation of fun and friendship."
